Good Morning, I want to share a new recipe with you - and this is especially for my friends in Istanbul, why I exceptionally write in English. Sorry, that it is not in Turkish, but as you know, I still don´t speak this language, it is a real difficult one (at least for me)..... :-) Ingredients: 375 g dark chocolate 250g butter 300g walnut kernels 5 eggs 220g raw cane sugar (if you don´t get this, you also can use regular white sugar) 1 package of vanilla sugar 110g flour 1 package of baking powder 1 pinch of salt 3 tablespoon of cocoa a little butter and cocoa for the form powdered sugar for decoration you need a bundt cake form with 26cm diameter 35-40min in the oven with 170 degree top-down heat Preparation: In the first step you have to melt the chocolate and the butter. Break the chocolate into pieces and chop the butter, then pour into a bowl. Fill water into a pot and boil it. Then put the bowl onto the pot. I always put a paper towel between pot and bowl, then the steam can escape well. Stir the chocolate / butter mixture until everything is melted and connected. Look, does not that look delicious? Then put the chocolate mixture aside and allow to cool slightly. Now chop the walnuts a bit, place them on a sheet of baking paper and lightly roast for about 10 minutes at 130 degrees top / bottom heat in the oven. In between, turn around a bit, that they are evenly roasted. Beat the eggs, sugar and vanilla sugar in a mixing bowl with a hand mixer until frothy. Add the melted chocolate / butter mixture and continue briefly. Then mix the flour with baking powder, the pinch of salt and the cocoa. Then add this mixture to the dough with a wooden spoon. Please do not work with the hand mixer! Same then with the walnuts. So, now fill the mass in the bundt form. Attention, before filling in, grease the bundt form with butter and cocoa, otherwise the cake will stick in the form. Now bake the cake in the preheated oven at 170 degrees for 35 minutes, until the surface is firm, the interior is still a little bit damp. Turn off the oven and let the cake rest for 10 minutes with the oven door half open. Then remove from the oven and topple the cake. At the end decorate the cake with a little powdered sugar. And then you a ready to enjoy.... and always remember - there is a danger of dependency, when eating this delicious cake..... :-) I hope, that my description is easy to understand. Have a lot of fun baking this cake. All your friends will love you for... :-). Enjoy the Sunday and I hope to see you all soon again. Your Monali
